I had a fiddle with the beta yonks ago but didn't really like it. Just felt like record with a shit drum machine in it. Dr.Octo rex is awesome and that's about it. I'll stick with reason 4/record/ableton combo untill they release something with some new effects or synth action going on.

Had a little play last night, Kong is pretty cool, love the way you can add effects from the early. Will no doubt get it in time, but Reason 4 is enough for me at the moment.

Kong is just sick! Even without a pad controller you can trigger different velocities depending on where you click on the pad. I would upgrade just for kong.
I don't know if I ever will use blocks, maybe it will save me time once I figure it out?
I don't much care for neptune, but it does open a new realm of routing and experimenting.
Octorex would have been cool 6 years ago when I used rex loops all the time.
It's not a must have upgrade for most, but for people who make beats with an mpc or something similar it is a nice addition.

I'm under the impression that they have more synths and effects already set to go and are gonna make everyone upgrade to 5 and then put out a 5.5 or something right after.
