JOE NICE

Joe Nice is The Dubstep Ambassador. A Baltimore native, he first heard Dubstep in 2002 at the local venue Starscape, and began playing it that same year. Now this 31-year-old Baltimore DJ has the fattest dubplate collection this side of oblivion and access to the freshest presses on the planet. He founded New York’s irregular Dub War club night, which has hosted performances by British Dubstep artists such as Hatcha, Youngsta, Kode9, Mala and Loefah.
Joe Nice performs regularly in New York and London (including at scene pillar DMZ) and has been praised for his charisma, stage presence, and willingness to play tracks by lesser-known producers. In 2007, Nice was selected as one of URB magazine’s “Next 100,” and is inarguably one of the most famous dubstep DJs in America.

Hecubus is no stranger to the Midwest Drum and Bass scene. Having played on the same bill with such artists as Tech Itch, R.A.W., General Malice, DJ Anonymous & Doormouse, Bad Company and more, Hecubus brings a variety of sounds to his sets with transitional track selection and precision mixing. Currently one of the players in the Fox Valley area with his monthly "Bowling, Ballers and Beats" at the Electric Lounge in Oshkosh, expect quality events for every electronic music fan.
