so who's gonna be reaching any of these.

heard it's pretty epic and certainly would like to reach one.

Think modeselektor on 11 dec's one for me although would quite happily go to about 4 or 5 of em'.

i'm sure a couple of peeps will disagree with me, cos it gets a bit of flack for being too expensive (don't really agree), and also for killing other manchester clubnights in the autumn (true to an extent). but the WHP is honestly about as close to the perfect night out i have ever seen.

I reckon some of you northerners on this forum would be well into this line up in Liverpool in 2 weeks. I'll be warming up upstairs.

thats a bit harsh really, yeh nights like format and hoya hoya in manchester do it better, but theyre generally at small venues so the atmosphere is always going to be better. In terms of seeing big lineups in a big venue, i think warehouse is the best out of any of the big nights across the uk - as in fabric, matter, motion, mass etc. Seeing like the bug, modeselektor and rustie in that huge main room with a good lightshow and a pretty sick sound sytem last year was pretty sweet.

aye......no one actually came up with a answer as to why it's a bad experience.

I've no doubt that it's probably very busy but also that the soundsystems must be pretty decent, no???

Some people tend to not enjoy themselves because they don't like/feel uncomfortable in big crowds or maybe feel that it doesn't compare to intimate shows?

It's all down to personal experience/preferance at end of the day....

Was wondering though whats the second room/arena like. There is one isn't there??!?!

ive been on occasions where the 2nd room has been shit - sound way too low, good quality but just not enough volume, and sweaty as fuck. but then i went later in the year and they'd sorted it out so i think it can be hit and miss

went last year and there was some good and some bad. when rustie played pretty much everyone flocked to the 2nd room and apparently they stopped letting people into it after a while which i thought was a bit shit. i know there's not really anything you can do about that but was still rubbish. modeselektor were unbelievable however, and the sound was great. drinks were so expensive though. you had to pay for shots and mixer separately, was a bit strange.
