Who are we?
Brap.FM is a multi genre radio station. Predominantly we play electronic based music but we also have shows playing Funk, Soul and the stuff with guitars in. We're open minded and relaxed when it comes to our playlists as we believe that diversity and the ability to keep you audience captivated through your musical knowledge should be at the forefront of what we do. We favour this over repeating the same tunes and genre from show to show. We're not opposed to being different.

What do you get?
Brap.FM has been running for nearly 4 years. We offer our DJs unlimited hosting for their shows and mixes. We offer all our DJs a fully automated iTunes podcasting service integrated into our wesbite, just go to iTunes and search for Brap.FM or Brapradio. If you run a label or promote a night when we have a fully featured website at your disposal. Coming very soon we'll have individual DJ Blogs and profile pages.

We offer the software to get you up and running and we have extensive and unparalleled support at hand by means of our well established community if you need it. We run nights where you'll be able to play and we have regular get together's all over the country. We're a community of friends and like minded individuals, not just a bunch of people who play bleeps on the interwebs.

So what do you need?
You need to have a solid Internet connection and to be able to broadcast from home. Your PC or Mac should be virus free, clean, well maintained and up to spec. You need a decent quality microphone, decks or some kind of mixing device - Traktor, Ableton, Serato or even the ability to blend tunes from an iTunes playlist. It doesn't matter, as long as you have the dedication, enthusiasm and the drive to make your show the best it can be then we want to hear from you.

What do you do next?
If this sounds like your bag and you want to join us then please take a look at the stickies in this forum: http://forums.brap.fm/join-us/ and reply to the post referencing the timeslot you'd like. Think of it as applying for a job, we need to know as much about you as possible. We need bio's, mixes, links to websites, anything that would swing the vote in your favour. Single sentence applications will be ignored. Make an effort!
