Music Collab Community Website - An Idea?

If I was to maybe put together a website / community for collabs and remixes etc would people be interested in using it?
Started playing with a few ideas last night insipred by a thread on here, could incorpate the facebook, soundcloud and myspace api system into it, sort of a like a multi genre community, sign up or login with your facebook account, get a profile, music player for collab ideas and/or introductions to your sound, stuff like that, could even have label profiles who want to run remix comps across multiple genres and stuff.
Could cross reference profile information and suggest people to collab with based on influences, likes, DAWS and location etc
I'd be happy to put them time in an develop run it, free of of course, but do people think it's something they would actually consider using?
