Full of twats.
Shit songs.
Talentless generic high street slappers.
Cheesy music when the contestants get through.
Masses of sob stories.
Why does it exist?

Im not a huge fan but I watch it with the missus. I even went to support my mate in the auditions. He didnt make the cut. In fact he got 3 no's. On the plus side I got to meet Dermot, hes so dreamy.

Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering...

because the majority of people are ignorant as fuck.
its a charade that for some reason, people equate with real talent.
sure, some of the contestants can sing well, but the content is plastic and shallow.
simon cowell is a cynical, intelligent man who knows how to make money from stupidity, and has raped a cash cow, hard.
maybe it makes people feel better about their shitty lives when they see some retard get a new asshole torn by a panel of judges.

I hate the show aswell but my girlfriend watches it, so occasionally I end up being roped into seeing it. That Aiden lad who's on it this year went to my primary school and is mates with a friend of mine. Pretty funny actually, he was in the car once when my mate was buying a bit of bud and then this dealer sees the guy on x-factor and calls my friend up like wtf.

This.
Its just lazyness on the part of the contestants and the viewers in my opinion. The contestants cant write songs and the viewers cant see more that one button their remote control.
The person with the best sob story/nicest personality/most attractive (male - no homo. But girls dont like girls generally) always wins.
For Example,
''My dog died and he would have wanted me to do this for him. I loved my dog he was like my best friend, i dont know how im going to cope with this journey without him *cue crying*. Also look at my lovely hair and body dont i look like the sort of boy/man you would like to take home to your mother (even though im gay)''. oooor something similar.

Never understood their use of live autotune. Why cover up bad singing in a singing competition? Could hear it proper spazzing out up and down the notes with some people
