Love this record. Beats are sick and MF Doom on top disjointed form.

the beats on this are different init.
all heat sensors beats are madded. and that rjd2 one (saliva) is ridiculous.

love the rhymes on GMC he smacked it. i reckon it's his best album apart from Black Bastards with KMD

there's some sick stuff on this LP.. disjointed is the word for it though. So many different producers and different styles, but seems to work well enough. All about Popsnot and Raedawn, dunno who produced the beats but they're heavy. Some of them sound pretty Prefuse-y.

The Open Mic Night things are jokes as well :D

king honey and heat sensor did most the beats.
both are in the sound ink camp...

i come back to this album more than most of his stuff, highly enjoyable and listenable.maybe not the best, but very good.

i thought the fact he worked with other peoples beats was a fresh idea seeing as (as good as it was) the producky on op doomsday was way too repetitive, esp the drums. i liked the lo-fi simplicity of it, like Edan's early stuff.. i still rate that record and he fuckin smacked it with pretty much all of the samples (mainly steely dan-gas drawls, scooby doo-cant remember the track and sade-doomsday). but vaudeville still sounds like his freshest record and like my guy says above its the one i keep coming back more often to listen to if i wanna hear some doom.

'op doosmday' plays like a bible of classic hip hop samples.every snare, kick and bass and vocal clip EVERYTHING is from a classic rec or movie.none of his other works compare.

doomsday is classic, i dont think anyones questioning that.
plus i think the fact that doom uses different aliases, allows stylistic differences in production and sound to a point.so why compare the two?
