Emalkay Live

Post by eul » Sun Oct 03, 2010 10:55 pm

Emalkay is coming to my city in December. I was wondering, for those that have seen him, what should I expect? In your experience how was the tracklist.. good? sub-par? terrible? Am I in for a lot of wobble/dub police tracks? Just wanna know what I'm in for, thanks.

This, seen him mid summer, and he THREW DOWN. I was in awe. Loved his set, wish I saw him when he came by 2 weeks ago.

Yeah saw him at Glasto. He is defo one of the better tear-out DJs as he does mix it up too and is pretty tight.

Heard him play two Doctor P tunes inna dance before. Man's selection is terrible, but I still respect him for the sheer quality of his early productions.

Badboy producer, but if you're not into your tearout then avoid his sets IMO.

i think it really depends what location your seeing emalkay at.

if your seeing him at a consistent night in London or somewhere close, then i assume his sets will be much more varied in sound. but see him in other places such as canada or the U.S., except a midrange feast, which emalkay kills at.
