New to dub, quick listen/tips

Hey everyone, I've been listening to dubstep for a while now and just decided to screw around with FL studio a bit. Here's something I'm working on and I will upload the whole thing when it's done.

Any tips on how to make the bass line synth stand out without just being the loudest channel?

Just wanna see if I'm headed in the right direction.

Thanks

I'd suggest using the "soundgoodizer" effect in the master track. It's kinda weird, but it seems to make all my sounds pop out a bit more, if that makes sense. You can also try a "Fruity Bass Boost" on your bass tracks in the mixer. Give that a shot. I hope it helps.

I actually tried using the sound goodizer in the master track today with another song and it worked great. As for the bass boost, I haven't tried that yet but I guess something I should have thought of :P haha

Thanks for the tips.

Wrong part of the forum. Either post this in the works in progress thread, or go to the production forum and ask a directed question. There is heaps to learn there. Maybe try reading the massive quantities of resource available there before reposting your question as you're likely to get flamed. Welcome hombre.
