FLStudio & the 3xOsc

Any FLStudio users here that still use the 3xOsc instead of Massive? I actually have Massive but haven't learned how to make dubstep basses with it yet. The 3xOsc seems to be pretty decent for what it is; it offers a more vintage wobble, sometimes even comparable to a bassline out of grime. I still have to learn Massive, but I'm just curious how many people on here still use the 3xOsc, or maybe even the Wasp XT (which I don't use anymore really) and try to get the best possible out of it. I have to say, the 3xOsc actually has really paid off for me in productions.
Anybody else here that use the 3xOsc want to share some tips, tricks, methods, techniques, etc?

You certanly can't achieve the same thing in 3xOSC... Massive is way more powerfull... But for good sub bass, some leads, noises, 3xOSC is great little synth...

Oh yes, of course, I knew that. But I'm just trying to say that I really respect it for what it
can do, and the quality and tone it has to offer. It's always been my "go to" plugin for dubstep (at least until I learn Massive!), and I really enjoy what it has done for me. But, until I learn Massive much more, I'd like to also improve on the 3xOsc as much as possible - hell, maybe I can use both.

Yeah the 3osc is a nice little beast you definitely should milk that one out a lot and I would also pick up that wasp and waspxt. And start using them again too they can be quite handy as well

When I first learned how to make wobbles with the Wasp XT, it was thanks to some presets I downloaded, and tweaking them really helped me learn more. But, anymore, it almost feels as if the Wasp XT nor Wasp are enough to match the 3xOsc. I don't know why, hm. Maybe I should reconsider?

wasp xt always feels rather limited to me now since ive used massive...which is probably a bad thing
however, i will still always use it for sub bass as it doesnt munch that much CPU.
but seriously, if you want a good synth, use sytrus, i havnt learnt my way around it properly but its a serious bit of kit

Seriously? I actually never considered using it, because I over-used it as an amateur producer by using all the presets and not mixing any of them. Haha, because of that, I've kind of been a little resistant to go back. And I never actually thought that it could make some good dubstep basses?

the FL 3xOsc is my favorite plugin. I pretty much use it in all my productions for some reason or other.
Often I think that "powerful" synths aren't really that powerful - they just add a whole lot of processing that you can add yourself in an fx channel. Not hating on them at all, just saying that you can make pretty much any sound you like with most synths, fx and, if need be, resampling.

Bringing back an old thread to say how much I love 3xOsc <3
I messed around on my brothers computer, and used 3xosc only. I use Massive on my main production laptop, but i'll defo use 3xOsc more after this, it's like I discovered it all over again, haha.

I still use 3xOsc, mainly for saw and sub basses. There's a guy on youtube (think its howtomakeemusic) that nails the shit out of it - he makes some really nice synth sounds with it.

3xosc is one of fls best parts imo, great for subs, i even managed to make a flux pavillion style bass with it not even doing that much processing if i remember rightly, 3xosc is a great little synth

Just an anecdote, I remember using FL 3.4 which only had the demo of Wasp. There was a demo song covering the theme from Cradle to the Grave? and it was just like "holy shit, got to have the Wasp!"
Anyway, I'll do a quick search to see if there is a VST like 3xOSC for non-FL guys. Otherwise that might be a good project to learn VST programming.

yes i love 3xosc, most of the sounds in my sig sound were done in 3xosc, some in wasp & harmor. i process the heck out of it though tbh..
i mainly use foldback distortion, fruity waveshaper, love philter, fruity flanger & parametric eq.
i really like wasp its great for reeses but the phase always changes which i dont like.
the only synth i know thats a bit like 3xosc (but better) is charlatan.

The guys on KVR mentioned Synth1 which I kind of agree with. When I used Charlatan, I was comparing it with massive (which it looks like), and was underwhelmed.
Also Wasp is actually apparently a VST?
I started making a Pure Data patch. Finishing the 3xOSC copy is realistic.
Also, Sunny, I'm digging your Production name.

Also try the
Minimogue VA and
ClearSynth. Also, I'll try to finish that patch.

How do people say 3xosc when talking about it in a regular conversation? 3 oscillator? 3 times osc? 3 ex osc?
