A production idea...

If any of you know about Exiles album Radio, where every sound on it was sampled of of LA radio station broadcasts, i'm sure you'll agree that it was an interesting concept. Not to mention the final product was damn impressive (in my opinion)
So that got me thinking....How good a tune could be made using nothing but the audio of your favourite film/TV programme? I think it would be important to screw with the samples and do whats necessary to make it unrecognisable to some extent. But with such a wide range of audio to sample in any movie (there would be plenty of sounds to choose from to use as kicks, snares, percs, atmosphere, vocals etc) it would surely lead to a unique sounding piece of work. And would also be a good lesson in getting creative with sampling and processing.
I'm gonna get on the case soon. But anyone ever tried something similar?
