Got some nice little Dubstep treats for you this week... check out the Galleon Dub track by 23Hz & Numaestro. This is a deep and heavy number, played it on our radio show in Helsinki last night. Seems to be going down well too, it jumped into the number #8 spot on our bestsellers list this month. Have a browse though all the Immerse Records catalogue, they have been putting out some quality stuff, including tracks from the likes of Benga.
Then there's a new release from Canadian label Fyutchaflex by Intoccabile. I hadn't heard about these guys before they got on board with Digital Tunes, but definitely feeling this new tune Chaos seed / In your arms. The Fyutchaflex album Grime Related has been sitting in the top of our bestsellers list pretty comfortably too.
Drum & Bass numbers:
On the Drum & Bass front we've got the latest Jerona Fruits EP: Jerona Global Sessions Vol 2, finally available on digital, with tracks from the likes of Amaning & Dizplay, Mijatoho, Physics and Sabre. Quality stuff as ever from the Jerona camp, so give it a listen. Continuing with the quality tip have a look at the new Fokuz Recordings outing Sound For the Masses / Altered Soul by Physics and Alix Perez. The Physics side is a deep dubby affair, which has been getting a good reception, and the flipside a more liquid/jazzy vibe, but still aimed at the dancefloor. Have a look also at the new Sonic and Silver release Paleface / Habitat out on Citrus.
From the Nu Urban camp we've got a whole crop of new stuff for you too coming Monday the 12th. Some no nonsense dancefloor action in the form of The Filth (Connecta Remix) / Is Someone There by Soundclash & Optomist, I'm sure this ones gonna go down well. Have a look also at the new Basement release Bad Boy Tune / Flipside which is, well, bad boy stuff. Then out on Intrinsic Infused / The Main Chance with tracks by Redeyez and Chino and Submorphics. Some new Sappo business in the form of Selection Dark (Connecta Remix) / Pay The Price out on Advisory, and some ragga style beats on No To Guns by Jah Prenta Ft. Mr Quest , out on Solid Vinyl, which has been doing the rounds on the London pirate stations.
