Scanners is Asheville NC's one and only dubstep monthly. DJs Matt and John bring the heaviness, possibly for the last time if people don't show up in force! At the Joli Rouge, Thursday March 15, starting at 10pm. It's free.

It's awesome you've got dubstep going in Asheville. I live about 2 hours away in Virginia and am looking to maybe get it started here. I'd really love to come out to the gig tonight but I'm not 21, so...

I'll help promote this party to all the d'n'b heads I know in town. I think most of them are down with the DS cause... Asheville junglists have good tastes in music. Get the word out and they will come... hopefully. It's a tough town for sure...

whoa!!!
last night was sick as fuck. a lot of heads turned up and nodded. so we are on for next month now. ye!
i fucking forgot to take photos tho, goddamn. always forgetting to do that.
it was really a nice night tho. matty merked it with some of the darkest beats. i did really tolerably i think and apparently helped destroy one of the woofers... (!!!) jbrinker brought the heaviness fullforce. killamanjaro SLAYED IT! Slayed!
yesss. the night is picking up a bit now. really looking forward to getting some proper big woofers in there in the future.
yeah, thanks again everyone coming out.
