how or where can i get the jamaican piano type steel drums?

are there any vst plugins for that or how can i create them jamaican steel drum instruments?

You can get them as soundfonts - try googling steeldrum soundfonts and see what comes up. Soundfonts aren't usually the best, but as they're percussive rather than sustained it generally shouldn't make too much difference. Most soft samplers can convert anyway (actually thinking about it I've probably got them in emulator/proteusx format if that's any use - if I can find and upload, I'll do that)

ahh wicked brv thats all good. in the meantime i'll have a look at steeldrum soundfonts in google.
will the ones you got work in fruity loops ye?

I really don't know I don't use it. You can get simple soundfont players from
www.kvraudio.com if they don't convert to the FL sampler and then just run them as vsts.
