Hi all. totally new to dubsteb but definately a convert after buying 2010 MOS The Sound oF Dubstep.. freaking awesome stuff. triple j's the sound lab got me curious on the tunes. glad i checked it out
Now im too lazy to go and search endlessly topics like: best dubstep albums, best dubstep djs and the like one reason is ill end up buying the crap albums, wasting my money, all from crappy recommenations.
figured where else to ask those questions but on here. hopefully get some nice recommendations and some help into the world of dubstep.
anyway what are the must have albums and compilations of dubstep? like the "underground" stuff and even the mainstream..
any suggestions much appreciated!

if you are new to dubstep, I would not go for anything too deep straight away maybe- usually stuff such as Mala (whilst brilliant) takes a little while to get into if you are new to the genre..
Personally I would rinse out the whole of the Dubstep Allstars series- start at the latest (vol 7) and work your way back.... you can pick em up pretty cheap and vol 7 in particular has a LOT of sick artists featured on it so will expose you to them..
burial's definately a good shout, its beautiful music..

Not out yet, but just got the "Scientist Launches Dubstep into outer Space" promo from tectonic, and can say without a doubt that this will be an essential compilation to own. Absolutely amazing stuff in there (out late november)

Judging by your posts I think you won't enjoy most of these suggestions right away. They are all big though,
definitely give em a chance.
I'd also listen to some dubstep shows on Rinse:
