THIS IS IT!
The beginning of the end. The bass has invaded your city and has come to takeover. Our neighbors from the north @ Threshold Sound come to help us out with the initial phasing of getting you used to what will soon be blowing up in these little streets of ours. PLEASE SHARE THIS EVENT. if this succeeds, I have such huge plans for things at this venue. Things you will want to come out of the woodwork for. TRUST ME. So p...lease do whatever you can to spread the word and make this event pop off like only CT can!
The Aliens:
Mizeyesis - (Threshold Sound/Reload/Mizeyesis.com) CT's Queen of the Scene, Co-founder of Threshold Sound, now infamous for bringing the true EDM to CT for over 6 years. Miz-Eyesis has gone on to become a member of Awake Productions based out of Connecticut, Team Ewok, DNBC and Basscamp Recordings based out of New York and NERU based out of Maine. In addition to being known for spinning and supporting jungle, drum and bass, you can catch her dropping dubstep, grime, uk funky, house, breakbeats, dub and other sounds associated with her love of breakbeat culture. http://www.mizeyesis.com/
Symetrex - (Dubbage/Threshold Sound) Another CT heavyweight, Symetrex has the deep bassy flows on lock. Producing 808 heaviness to downtempo gooeyness. He will certainly be one to look out for in the future of dubstep in CT. http://www.myspace.com/symetrex
Elzweth - (Reload/Threshold Sound) - holding down CT(getting a theme yet?) for years with the ragga/amen breaks/jungle smashings, Elzwerth will no doubt bring out the best in rolling bass for that ass. Dont miss this. http://soundcloud.com/elzwerth
Killamonjaro (Sonic Armament/Tao Tv/Potent Productions) A bass lover since 1997, Killamonjaro has always been fascinated by the growing bass culture. Producing hip hop/breaks/and video game-type beats for years before finally locking down a set of turntables and doing what he really loves the most: Spreading new incredible music. Killa has been trying to build the Southern CT scene for the better part of 3 years and is finally starting to break the ice with allowing some darker tunes with good intentions to be rinsed out over these airwaves. http://www.soundcloud.com/killamonjaro
Cover charge is $5 a mere fee for the incredible talent packing this venue tonight.
As I've stated, if this is successful and we can start gaining a regular fan base to this venue, we can bring in some big names and get this place really rocking. If you know anything about the recent renovations to Seaside Tavern you'll know their number one concern was their sound system. Fully upgraded sound board with multiple stacks and enough bass to scare the neighbors. Plenty of parking this venue can and will do wonderful things for us if we reciprocate.
So hopefully We will see your faces out this november! This is our time! Much love and respect for all the support and continued push of bass culture into Fairfield County.
