One of the first DJ’s in Holland to expose the crowd to these beats has been Utrecht native El Maria. After many years as one of the most prolific Drum & Bass DJ’s and promoters in the country, El stepped his game up in 2008. Slowing down his tempo to Dubstep before morphing his sound into what it is now, an energetic hybrid of styles. Showcasing his style with his succesful ‘Fucked Up Dancehall’ mix series, El’s sets are always spot on with a fresh selection and tight mixing.
Over the years El has played alongside artists such as Gilles Peterson, Distance, Mala, Martyn, Rusko, Chef, Kubus & Bang Bang, Hudson Mohawke, Headhunter, Ramadanman, 2562, RSD, N-Type and loads loads more.
