But apparently Three Six Mafia are to perform at the oscars this year.
making them the first rap group to not only perform at the oscars, but to also be nominated.

personally, I hope they play 'slob on my knob' or 'let's plan a robbery'

i thought i read somewhere that 'stay fly' got a nomination for "best original song" ? maybe it wasn't the grammys, but how is sampling willie hutch original? I am a big fan of sampling but dont label it something it isnt.

anyways

grammys and oscars are lame

not to get picky but its 'sippin on some syrup'
or 'sippin on some sizzurp' :3:

yeah, i cant believe this shit... personally, i think its amazing.
those guys have been through a lot, now theyre up for an oscar...
apparently terrance howard has refused to perform the song.

if anyones interested in this stuff, def. check the lord infamous solo tape, which can usually be had on ebay. its a transfer to cd from a rough cassette but so worth it. or even better dj paul vol. 16 for the 'summa of 94'. theres also been a guy selling a 27 cd box set of all the early dj paul/juicy j/triple six stuff on ebay, which i have come very close to buying...
its all that early cassette only shit, the good stuff.
besides dubstep and grime, and some ethiopian jazz, dj paul productions are about the only thing i listen to as of late... oh and this guy zilla has put a promo cd out of crunk mixed with grime/chopped electronic instrumentals, its sick, check it.
