Daedalus
Daedelus, born Alfred Darlington, is a Los Angeles born electronic producer who has pioneered the IDM and Lo-Fi movement led currently by the likes of Flying Lotus and Nosaj Thing. Known for developing the Monome in live performance, Daedelus has boosted the IDM scene into the national spotlight. Currently working on a project with critically acclaimed Los Angeles rapper Blu, Daedelus has been and continues to redefine electronic music and the L.A. beat scene. A pioneer in every respect, Daedelus is considered by many to be the godfather of performance based IDM.
The Gaslamp Killer
The Gaslamp Killer (Born William Bensussen) is an L.A. based producer who is currently releasing his music with Flying Lotus's Brainfeeder label. Having co-founded the now legendary Low End Theory event on Wednesdays at the Airliner in Santa Monica CA, GLK has played a crucial role in promoting the IDM, Avant-rap and glitch movements. Along with Daedelus, The Gaslamp Killer has been one of few artists who have created a sensational new genre comprised of what has been described as a "dialogue between Jay Dilla and dubstep" by the Los Angeles Times. His performances, which he has come to be notorious for, are absolutely insane.
Teebs
Teebs is yet another of the Low End Theory clan who is signed to Brainfeeder. Described by Xlr8r.com as "an accomplished skater, artist, and painter." and "one of those dudes who's seemingly good at just about everything he does," Teebs has exploded in the ever expanding L.A. beat scene and is poised to take over both domestic and international crowds with rising L.A. stars Shlohmo and Juj.
