where's my dubstep cycling crew??

anyone looking to do the Dunwitch Dynamo (120 miles through the night from hackney to suffolk).. or the London 2 Brighton.. or just generally spend the summer on their bike making bassfaces and pulling gunfingers??

anyway i'm well up for organising some rides, outings, general bicycle fun.. come we do this..

I love cycling! I'd love to do some rides with the forum crew but I live in scotland, oh well. Don't think I could manage 120 miles in one go, the most I've ever done is about 50

where abouts in scotland are you?? i'm thinking of cycling to edinburgh when i go up to see pinch and distance.. are you gonna reach that?

i do some urban assault here in houston

used to ride road but i had to sell my bike for some cash

heheh, man i was gonna ask you about cycling if i met you somewhere, i saw your bit about track riding on ya myspazzle....

yeah i'm up for cycling big time geez, went to the 3 big tours last year and rode my roadie most days.... its the only thing that will save me from being completely consumed by dubstep

winters been tough, only done about 20 miles, stopped eating, stopped sleeping..... not the best training regime! so yeah bring on the summer and the mileage! let me know

I live in dundee which is about one and a half hours in the car from edinburgh so too far for me to cycle! Riding from london to edinburgh would be well impressive, how long do you think it would take you to do that? I really want to see pinch and distance but I don't know if I'll be able to, I'm a student and I've got exams soon but I don't know what dates they are

I got a bike for commuting last summer, been trying to get a decent road bike ever since.

but the wife doesn't understand exactly why I need a 16-pound bike, my 30-pounder should be fine right???

i hear ya on that. i worked at Incycle in pasadena for a few months during school and would drop the dubstep on the store system in the evening.

where in LA you located?

i just cycled back from FWD after 635 bottles of budvar and managed not to crash!! i HAVE to stop cycling when drunk... not a good look.. (p.s. dizzee rascal reached FWD tonight!.. blap!)

this was my only job in austin for almost three years!

where in LA you located?

i do the late night rides around downtown l.a alot.
i have an old atala roadie with all campy components, i love the thing.
i also have an early 90s centurion ironman with a 650 upfront, i lvoe the thing, but its too small for me, girls been riding it around instead.
i want a khs flite 100, i want to get a somewhat decent fixed without having to wear capris, not shave and talk about NJS all day, ya kno?

I've spend 8 years doing semi-pro roadcycling, back in the day. Now I ride around London on my dirtjump bike, doing some tricks and stuff. Wouldn't be able to do 120km on this bike.

khs bikes feel real nice to ride. Not sure what it is, but they're just fun to be on.

as for fixies - there are too damn many in this town. I mean, fixed is great an all, but if you're gonna ride one, learn how! That means, get some muscles, and don't ride with busted pedals lol.

i noticed when i coast i tend to not want to pedal anymore.
hence the fixed-lust. i hate the way it turned into a style/scene though.
sadly, the biggest turn off inst the pedaling or the extra work, its the inevitable "bike talk" with a douche bag : ( i think pretending to not understand english might solve that, though.

i agree there can be something wanky about fixed scene etc.. but fuck it, fixed gears are so great and beautiful!
