Oh yes! I’m ecstatic to announce the second installment of my monthly podcast series, which unfortunately, did not happen in a monthly fashion, having missed the entire month of October. I am sure though, that you will agree that the wait was well worth it when you hear the incredible music I present for your listening pleasure.

The man, the legend, the inimitable XI!

He hails from Toronto, Canada, and has been one of Canada’s leading bass music pioneers for the better part of a decade.

Currently, he is one of the hottest producers in future bass music circles, with releases on several top labels like Formant, Lo Dubs, Immerse, Surefire Sounds, Aufect, Orca, Surface Tension and more. His sounds are complex and dark, but have a thread of soul, that can only be described as “XI”. He skillfully manipulates breakbeats, shuffled 2-step rhythms, complex sample beds with glorious waves of sub bass that would make even your average sailor blush.
