Not likely i live in bc and have partied with people who went to the school, and know troy and jeff personally. From what i heard they did take a year long course

if you know people who know them personally and went to the school why are you asking here and not them?

Because i only partied with them, and spoke briefly about troy and jeff. I wasn't interested at that point, what school they went to...I only became curious in the last few days.

going to the source is the easiest way
especially when they have multiple social networking accounts, aim accounts, and accounts on here
they're just normal guys like most producers unless they're egos have exploded which i doubt is the case
i never get why people can't seem to grasp this concept...

Edit: I see someone posted it up there already but in all honesty I think they are self taught.

From watching some interviews he is a self taught producer. Originally he started making hip-hop and then transitioned over to dubstep because he couldn't find any good MC's for his tracks. Plus he like using basses as melodies. Yeargh yeargh xcision liked his stuff and they both hooked up. Oh, and they read DOA "Grid" forums. And he used to be a pizza delivery boy and then worked for fedex.

i know he took some sort of audio engineering

I don't mind being pointed in the right direction if i feel its actually helpful information.
I know these guys went to school, and vie been trying to figure out which one for some time.
I have tried giving them subtle pm's asking what school it was, but so far no response. Im going to go see jeff at lucky bar here in victoria on weds and i will ask him then, in person.

Everyones self taught.. really no school will teach you everything of what you need to know,
But I believe There is a chefs recipe. Only in cartoons is there ever a 'secret ingredient' to the chiefs recipe. In reality everything needs to work together. Im just trying to figure out a single ingredient of the recipe without being patronized by people on this forum.. which i feel i should add... has been difficult to say the least.

well excision just posted on the main board not to long ago, like an hour or so by the timestamp, datsik it's been months (hell there's loads of people who lurk and don't post)
maybe it's how you worded your pm, or you could try another avenue they update publicly more often like twitter or facebook
honestly most people will answer you in due time seeing as they get bombarded with pms and emails and demos if you're patient and actually approach them respectfully, i'd wager to say just be patient for a response directly from the horses mouth

Word i am going to talk to jeff on weds, my buddy promoted the show and it shouldn't be a problem to get a meet and greet
