D-Jahsta - Transmorph [BETAMORPH RECORDINGS]

The Transmorph EP is the Betamorph debut from 22 year old producer D-Jahsta. Based in Athens, Greece, he’s been creating jungle and drum n bass tunes since 2004. After dominating the ragga-jungle scene he turned his hand to Dubstep and brought the biggest tunes, and allegedly some of the filthiest shows, that Greek Dubstep has ever witnessed.
This EP is a sick selection of his distinctive sounds, with the focus on lean, rhythmic riffs. Every track is so kinetic that it’s obvious why he’s constantly played by big names like Excision and Rusko. There’s plenty of relentless beats, but things constantly shift into experimentation. Like the intro to ‘Vs Com’, which could have come from an old Nintendo game. When it drops I half expected something to explode into gold coins.
