I think adding vocals to a track can either help it or hinder it. Personally i love to hear some synth rocking than a song that has used a chipmunk voice. hate that stuff!

options are absolutely endless. look for acapellas.

im sure theres programs you can use to mute the instruments so your just left with vocals.

I always laugh when people ask for vocals or acapellas already at 140.

Don't most DAW's have some sort of beat gridding or quantizing available? Makes it really each to stretch and get vocals in time.

get a microphone and record some vocals
