Looks like Guru with some additional features stolen from Ableton. Not that I'm complaining...

anyone bought it yet, tried the demo? Big improvement on Guru, im finding im using this much more than expected- i already have maschine but sampling and slicing/layering/timestreching is way better than maschine.

well i use Geist and NI maschine....Geist is amazing. Alternatives are Bpm motu, or battery 4. But IMO Geist is fucking awesome for drums.

Anyone using Geist still? I've been playing with Geist Lite lately. I'm still on the fence about whether or not I should upgrade. 50% discount offer ends on September 30th. I also had the fully functional demo, but it timed out. 95€ is tempting, but is it really worth it? Geist Lite can do a lot. So, Geist users...what are your most used Geist features? Does anybody use the song and scene modes? Would you recommend any other similarly priced (I'm talking about the discount) sampler?

Geist is pretty great. I love the multiple levels of fx processing you can get going on with the different mixers. I occasionally use the song mode, it's pretty easy to use, though there are a few things I wish you had more control over. The routing options are pretty fantastic as well. I love sampling in it. The threshold sampling options make multi sampling analog synths a breez. Overall, it's one of the few software instruments that really clicks with my workflow. I recently picked up an innerclock syncgen and have been having a blast jamming hardware and software in tight sync.
