INDIDJINOUS (Subtle Audio, Pinecone Moonshine)
After years of forced music lessons at an early age, Michael Morel formed a natural aversion to traditional instruments like guitars, pianos or any one can read music for. It wasn’t until he was 18 when he impulsively bought a didjeridu, the ancient Australian wind instrument, that his interest in making music was born.
Shortly afterwards, Morel developed a healthy obsession with drum n’ bass & jungle. He soon adopted the alias Indidjinous and began playing live didjeridu while other DJ’s spun, using various electric guitar pedals to distort the sound. Early experiments with production began around 2003 and included his didjeridu recordings in most tracks. Today his tunes can be found on several labels including Pinecone Moonshine, Subtle Audio, and Golden Age.
Citing major influences from Technical Itch, Dom & Roland, Amit, Konflict, Paradox, Teebee, and Hive, Indidjinous tunes are cinematic, tribal and dark without being abrasive. Morel’s sound spans several styles of drum n’ bass including techstep, drumfunk, half-time, experimental, atmospheric & neurofunk. Overtly melodic sounds are almost wholly absent in his productions, instead he tends toward abstract sci-fi atmospherics, industrial sound effects, and dis-harmonic bass lines.

NYCHAVOK (Rockin Audio)
Nychavok (Pronounced Nigh-Cha-Vok) made his debut in the Summer of 2007. A New York City native, he has been a resident for The Secret Night of Science and Let it Roll, two of NYC's biggest Drum+Bass monthlies. He is also the founder of Alteration, a party dedicated to providing quality Bass Music to the Big Apple. Nychavok has already played alongside the likes of Klute, Marcus Intalex, Calibre, Fabio, Makoto, Dieselboy and others. Into the more dark, deep and edgier sounds of Drum n Bass, Nychavok is all about pushing this sound and this city deeper into all music culture. Nychavok also has just begun to work in the production studio.
