CUBASE 5 Exporting bug???

anyone else have this problem.....
when you export audio from cubase it always adds a tiny bit of silence to the beginning of the file, causing it to be out of sync with everything else....the only way to fix it is to open the audio editor and move the start point right up to the first transient, which is where it should be anyway...if cubase didn`t cause this problem. anyone know how to remedy this, its a real pain and workflow destroyer....i throw breaks together in ableton by combining hits from various sources, and then i bounce them into single loops in cubase...everytime i do this i have to manually set the start point.
