check your levels it sounds like a lot of your sounds are clipping pretty badly.

no i rewire massive into my pro tools track, just like i rewire reason into pro tools. i noticed that my bass sound in massive is running a little hot but other than that the levels in reason seem to be green and yellow nothing distorted...is it just the basslines that sound clipped?...

I will repost the videos soon once I remaster the tracks. Thanks for the input I'll get back to you to make sure it's not clipping again.

the master level on reason is normal nothing above yellow; mostly green...in massive though the level barely touches the red occasionally; but i lowered the boost and low shelf and tried to get it in a good range; trouble is that the massive sounds arent as loud as the reason tracks i made already in the song so thats why it probably sounded like it was clipping before.....i inserted a lot of compressors , EQ, reverb, maximizers, into reason but just eqing in massive. i tried using izotope trial version but for some reason its not working on the tracks. it shows izotope working but i dont hear any difference when i insert it into one of my tracks that is running through reason or massive...

oh in that case the levels are stable...most if not all are green and maybe slightly in the yellow....i know that my studio monitors dont have much bass to them so i can at times make the bass too loud because of that. i guess i should use my headphones more often but the speakers sound really clean.

i wanted to see if it was my speakers that were playing the music back wrong so i went to my living room where my theatrical speakers are setup and played it through there and i still dont hear any clipping...i bypassed the compressors and it still doesnt go hot...maybe its your setup cuz i dont hear anything distorted or overly compressed.

bro really?? read the production bible.. it may help ya! I listened to ya track.... to see wat tha prob was. I only listened to the first one...
Its either a kick or bass that sounds wack as fuk, what ya have done is maxed it out hard... then compressed it so it doesn't clip... & it sounds like ass!
the whole track sounds like its been over compressed... there is no dynamic range like.
So go read up on compression & Eq... den ya wont have to ask questions... ya will know whats wrong with ya sound!
