**** VASKI **** ( Rottun Recordings )
When DJ/Producer Vaski sent his demo to rottun manager Excision, he had no idea of the journey that he was beginning. With his first two tracks storming the beatport top ten charts, Vaski hit the studio, returning to his Electro House production roots for the massive Terror Dome EP, featuring the self-titled track as well as the hit single "You Wouldn't Understand," Peaking again in the top ten of dubstep on beatport. Vaski's productions and local DJ sets began to gain attention of international promoters and DJ'st. Vaski spent the next season DJing at many Twin Cities venues, playing at the famed First Ave, Dinkytowner, and The Loft all the while working on his next work. World on Fire EP shook not only the beatport charts but the entire dubstep community. All five tracks peaked in the top 25 in dubstep on beatport, two tracks in the top ten, and the famous "Get Down" claiming its rightful place as a number one hit. This massive release rocketed Vaski to where he is today: smashing through his international tour, gaining rapid popularity for his unconventional stage presence, and continuously producing ridiculous and catchy bass lines. Expect a heavy bass fuelled set with a massive tune selection from all the big rottun recording dj's .

**** DJ HAZARD **** ( Playaz )
Hazard needs no introduction – king of the dancefloor, tracks like ‘Busted’ and ‘Mr Happy’ cemented his reputation as one of the heaviest producers in drum & bass . There are few artists who can claim to have shot to Drum & Bass fame as quickly, or as succinctly as Birmingham based DJ Hazard. In just a few short years this incredibly talented producer has knocked out enough dancefloor bombs to be considered a serious sonic terrorist, adding to the noise pollution problems of neighbourhoods around the world with his uncompromisingly tight beats and earth-quaking basslines.
Originally noticed by D&B legend DJ Hype while producing a few tracks for DJ SS’ Formation Records, Hazard was soon snapped up by the Playaz boss once he realised the young Birmingham based talent wasn’t under contract. There began a partnership that has rocketed DJ Hazard to the very top of his game, both in terms of producing immense dancefloor destroying tracks that eager DJs clamour to get their hands on during promo stage, and his own career as a DJ which has seen him travel the globe, doling out masses of bass-fuelled pain to unsuspecting ravers worldwide.

**** TAXMAN **** ( Ganja Recordings / Real Playaz)
They say nothing in life is certain but death and taxes, but Taxman’s success seemed just as certain from the outset. If you’ve been anywhere near a drum & bass dancefloor in the past couple of years then you know this man’s productions, and you’ll have been throwing your arms up and calling for DJs to reload his tracks on more than one occasion!
Taxman’s career certainly shows no signs of ending yet! His success story lead on to both him and his brother getting picked up by DJ Hype and Pascal, initially thanks to a collaborative effort in the studio: “After making ‘Warp Speed’ with G Dub, Adam called me and said that Hype really liked the track, that he’d been watching us for a while and wanted to sign us both. I didn’t really believe him, so I told him to get Hype to call me, and he did! That phone call changed Taxman’s world forever, as the last few years of dropping solid gold anthem after solid gold anthem will show.
One such anthem being the immense ‘Too Bad’, a cunning blend of reggae vocal snippets, face smacking beats and a bassline so heavy you need a friend to help you pick the vinyl up! Coincidentally the track was made the same day that Hype signed Taxman to Real Playaz, although it was over a year later that he was asked to mix it down properly. From that track Taxman became as close to a household name as anyone in drum & bass can claim, getting playlisted for daytime play on BBC 1Xtra and receiving the rewind treatment from all the top DJs in the scene.
Now with his own distinctive sound and a string of huge releases including ‘Original Ninja’ and ‘Scan Darker’ under his belt, Taxman is all about facing the future no doubt his dancefloor killing tracks will be taxing your spare income for years to come!

**** GENETIX **** ( Audio Freak's )
Genetix is the combination of Shifta aka Hoax and Dj Tron. Forming around 3 years ago the duo concentrated mainly on jump up dnb and found that working together was a winning formula. About a year ago the pair were approached by Dj Phantasy to produce tracks for his easy records lable under they're Digiworx alias and recently had they're first ep out. The tracks spent a couple of weeks in the nu urban top 20 with the track "Dirty Work" hitting the top spot. With many solo releases under they're belts aswell the lads tracks have been doin well around the dnb circuit so you can expect to see many more dancefloor bangers to surface over the coming months.
Having produced they're fair share of dnb matt and rich decided to try they're hand at dubstep. Matt had recently done a track called "Jehrico" under his hoax alias which turned out well hitting 150,000 views on UKF's you tube channel. With that in mind the guys decided to do something on a similar vien to Jehrico but with a dirtyier angle. They came up with the track "Squid Attack". With big boy Funtcase jumping on it straight away it wasn't long before the rest of the circus crew started hammering it. The track featured on the massive circus records podcast mixed by Flux Pavilion where it caught the attention of Z Audio. Squid Attack is now forthcoming as part of a 3 track ep on Audio Phreaks in december under they're new Dubstep alias "Genetix" along with another ep on Z Audio due soon. The Ep is recieving massive support from the likes of Nero, Dr p, Statelapse and Downlink to name a few with squid attack sparking quite an amusing debate on you tube. Hopefully this will settle it!

**** SHIFTA & TRON ****
" EZ all, My name is Matt Sharp, Ive been making tunes properly for bout 3 years now but have been messing around with it since the age of 15, around a year and a half ago i signed exclusivly to jaydans smokin riddims imprint and had my first release on there earlier in the year, the 12' reached no.5 in the nu urban vinyl charts and no.1 in the nu urban mp3 charts. Also ive had releases under my alias "Hoax" on various other lables. I am also now working with Dj Tron under our joint name "Digiworx" for Phantasy's lable easy recs and will be making our debut appearance under that name at innovation nye in London. We've had gigs up and down the country regularly for the last few years and also over seas appearances in portugal and more coming up in the czech republic and spain. Big ups to everyone thats helped and everyone that ive met along the way so far, you all make the scene as strong and healthy as it is today " - SHIFTA
