i think my friend used these for his scratch vinyl, no issues from what i gather...
Sorry to thread jack but, what i want to know is, there's vinyl carvers and transition, both reasonably priced for dubplates, but pressing plants for orders of 300-500 (quickpress and curvedpressings for example) require around £100 for 'Cutting to Lacquers from CD DAT Wavs file' and around £80 for 'Processing - Metal work - Stampers'...does this same process not apply for vinylcarvers and transition, for 'one off' dubplates?

You dont need stampers for a one off acetate cut, they literally just put acetate onto a metal disc and cut straight into that.

They cut direct to the vinyl, rather then create metal work.
