want to say way too much about how much i dislike them... couple points tho: when in gods name did lovers of independent music start caring about album covers? and they really do look stupid making fun of these album covers when at least 50% of them must have been jokes in the first place.

i'm not a huge pitchfork fan, but i don't see what's wrong with a worst album covers feature. Seems like its sort of a tribute to the albums on there in weird way.

one man's diss is another mans tribute? I guess...

Pitchfork is an awful website. But I didn't like this cover either...somehow it has nothing to do with dubstep, even the purple sound. It don't have to be cliché's all the time, but put this cover next to Kontext's Dissociate, Clubroot's CD's or even Quest for the sonic bounty and it is meager.


Surprised Magnetmic Man's art isn't on that list too.

Still haven't checked the Guido album actually, that cover is pretty shit (unlike a couple of the more surrealist ones in the list).
