Question about getting a CDJ from the US for UK use...

Post by tangerine dream » Mon Mar 26, 2007 11:31 am

Is there a difference between things? I'm guessing the power socket is the only difference, but i could be wrong - and is this a big obsticle to overcome?

I want to purchase a pair of these:

They are £380 in the UK each, and in the US they are only $327.50 each (what's that? like £160 quid each?)

So even with potential import tax and shipping i'd save a lot, right?

Hmmm... these are the cheapest online prices i've found in both the UK and USA anyway, unless i'm being silly and missing a cheaper UK supplier...

Thoughts? Many thanks :)

check out tax, duty & shipping - can wind up being a lot to pay, plus if anything goes wrong you gotta send it all the way back to the US again.

Check to see if the voltage auto switches between 110 and 240v. If it does, you're sorted. If it doesn't, don't bother with it. It'll be a pain in the arse to convert and will then probably buzz and sound horrible anyway.
