Hip-Hop is the entire culture that includes DJing/Rap/Graf/Breaking so technically it is UK Rap

yeah the link is ukrapmusic.com
I'm just a writer/fan
and as someone said it's just concerned with the music, rather than hip hop as a wider culture. just call it uk rap to distinguish the current wave (giggs, joe black etc.) from the earlier style of guys like braintax, jehst etc.

nah man i prefer hip hop way over dubstep, didnt know there was a differnece between rap and the stuff produced by taskforce/kalashnikoff etc
the difference in the video you posted seems like one is more about the rough endz an ting, perhaps a bit more grimey?
difference is pretty much that the majority of the new stuff could be considered gangsta rap in terms of US definitions and the beats are mainly dirty south style.
there's some guys who are different though
more of a chilled out vibe. klashnekoff and skinnyman kinda bridge the gap, it's a spectrum I guess.

tracklist that is, but hey, all to their own
