Noir presents....

Bank holiday Sunday 27th May 2007 @Timbuk2, 2 Small Street, Bristol

Immerse Records 1st Birthday!

Over the last year immerse has continually pushed forward thinking sounds that are just a little left of centre, in keeping with Noir. For this, our first birthday (and the nights second!) we present a show case of where we want to see dnb today and give an insight as to our musical output over the next year. In the front room expect a variety of styles from Roots to Techno.

Returning to Timbuk2, with bass pressure supplied by the flipsidevibe crew, your entertainers on the night are:

Main Room [Hosted by MC System]:

Fanu [dnb]

Finlands finest, someone we have wanted to get to Noir for some time. With numerous quality releases including the seminal 'Lightless' EP and recent 'Garmonbozia' on his imprint Lightless Recordings, expect an emotive voyage of discovery, his Bristol debut, this is not to be missed!

Macc [live drum set]

Making his return to Noir, Macc needs no introduction. His drum driven soundscapes form the basis of some of the best drumfunk around today (see the 'So Far' Ep on Subtle Audio, '4L+N' being battered at Noir for some time).

Chris Inperspective [dnb]

Inperspective head honcho and Noir resident returns with more enthusiastic loopy goodness, just dont mention the Villa. Chris has been steadily building his back cat, 'Cloud City Boogie' and 'Each Twin Unique' particular highlights of his off key house influences, expect big things in 2007.

Kidkut b2b Ruttler [oldskool to nuskool]

Immerse boss and co promoter of Noir, drawing for the immerse dubplates, expect a set of high quality diverse beats intricately kut together . Playing b2b with none other than Housewife Ruttler, master of the oldskool, this set will be a devastating blend of old into new.

Mr Fidz b2b Thinking [Garage]

Mr 'Too Cool For Skool' Fidz and the Shuffler himself, Thinking, supplying the skip to your beat, bringing their trademark bodynod ridims, nothing less than an indulgent journey into the garage sounds designed to make you FLEX!

Front Room:

Beavis [Roots]

Forsaken b2b Kymatik b2b Stealth [Mashup]

Mike Bull b2b Gareth Watkins [Techno]

The visual experience is very much a focus with Noir and this event will be no different, expect an impressive display from the Sex Pixels. Fancy dress is very much encouraged, as ever 1920's theme, get out your glad rags!

27th May 2007 10pm - 3.30am
