To those who DJ's, recommend a mixer...

Post by DREdio » Tue Dec 14, 2010 12:46 am

I currently have a DJM- 500 but its condition seems to deteriorate daily. At the moment the bass EQs on all but one channel are gone and the effects are all but busted. I've used a few other pioneer models and i really like their mixers but they're so damn expensive.

Whats a solid, cost efficient mixer with similar features to those made by pioneer?

depends what you want it for and if you want effects and shit.

personally an Ecler nuo sounds divine.

Allen & Heath is good too.

Formula Sound & Allen & Heath are both better than Pioneer IMO.

really couldnt recommend this mixer enough. Think it is a bit cheaper nowdays than when I bought it too.
Pro's - Sound quality, build quality, top eq's, best programmable hi/mid/low pass filters in the business, same brand + layout as a lot of club xone:92/62
Cons- None for the price really. Dont get it if you need a scratch mixer.
