From one nube to the rest

I am a nube. Not to producing music (been doing that for about 6 years), but to producing dubstep and electronic music in general. I am a relative nube to this forum.
Here is my message to my fellow nubes:
There is one answer to all your questions. That answer is... most often there is no answer and you need to figure it out for your damn self - that's what everyone else on this forum has done. There are an ENDLESS amount of threads on this forum about everything you could want to know - use the google search in the "rules of the production forum" sticky at the top. I taught myself EVERYTHING I know about producing music. Whether it was reading books, stalking forums such as this one, or trial and error, for the most part I figured it out without pissing everyone off here by asking the same question a million times.
The only person who knows how to specifically make "a datsik style bass" is datsik. Same with skrillex. Same with everyone.
You can EASILY learn the basics of dubstep by looking through this forum for two hours, and not asking a single thing...after that it's up to you. TRIAL AND ERROR IS THE MOST FUN PART OF MAKING MUSIC. You have a goal in mind that you want to accomplish, you try, you fail, but more often than not something cool comes out of it, which is ORIGINAL. THAT is the spirit of creation and music.
This may seem like a "negative post", and I, as much as anyone, would like to promote a culture of positivity, and helpfulness on this forum, but even I get sick of seeing the same questions over and over again. Hopefully this message will help spare everyone from the excess of repetitive questions that get asked here. (probably not)
So:
Read the stickys, use the search, open up your DAW, try something, sit there and turn knobs until it sounds cool. You aren't going to learn production over night; it takes EFFORT and time. There is no "magic answer" to your question that will unlock the pandoras box of dubstep knowledge. Put in some hard work. We'd all LOVE for you to figure it out on your own so we can hear some sick, original tunes out of you eventually.

Exactly.
People think there is some one sentence answer out there, that's going to teach them "The wobbles" .. But it's not like that, with anything in life.
Finding it out yourself is the fun part, if you just ask how to make a Bass, then you're not really having much fun.. And even if some one made a full fledge tutorial, people would still ask questions, because they would be too lazy to just follow along.
Datsik didn't learn to make his bass by going on a forum and asking "How do I make a Datsik bass?" .. No, he twisted and turned everything, until it sounded nice to him.
You should do the same, readers.

Hmm, whilst I am happy that there are some forum newcomers who realise that they are better off searching for information rather than just creating endless threads begging for magic solutions I can't help but cringe at the mild tint or irony that you created an unnecessary thread to rant about it. (Not having a go or trying to be hostile, just thought it was funny and worth pointing out)
Oh btw it's 'n00b' for someone who's an idiot or chronically ignorant/very naive etc etc and 'newb' or 'newbie' for someone who just happens to be new without the negative connotations. Personally I normally just use 'twats' and 'newcomers' but basically what I'm getting at here is that 'nube' isn't a word XD
Enjoy your time on the forums, here there be alpacas.

None of them are actually considered real words, just slang.
But Nube is real, so any one who posted talking shit, are Nubes.
Stop hating
FYI : Wikipedia is ownage.

There's no such thing as nube :s it's clearly just people hearing others say 'n00b' out loud and then misspelling it on the internet and then other people copying the misspelling etc etc. It's like the hideous chain of events that's led to most of the world thinking that 'pwn' is pronounced 'powned'. You are very very wrong and if you say it that way you are a bad person with a heart of pure evil.

Not really, just because it's slang doesn't mean it's not a word.

should've seen this coming...
if nothing else at least this thread provided some with a little bit of entertainment, although, it has grown in to (good natured) "noob" bashing which is what it was intended to prevent.
So how do I make wobbles again?

From being an insanely geeky tunc with no life, I can confirm in my 10 years of FPS/RTS PC gaming, ive never heard the word "nube". I had to read it twice to understand it..

Grammatical discussions aside, very spot on post. Just study sound design and learn your synths inside out. If this is really your hobby/possible future profession this type of shit should be your bread and butter.

I am a MALE for clarification... and a writer by profession. Apparently not a good one.
