what do i buy?

I am tossing up between buying ableton live, Komplete 7 or an SH 101. at the moment i only have a small set up of an mpk49, macbook, and the live light version of ableton. i have a bunch of free vsts, and a downloaded copy of massive. but its all so limiting. what do i buy?

The only thing that's limiting in your setup is Live lite. If I were you I would buy the full version of Live before spending money on more synths.

post above is a good idea... you could also buy Komplete 7 and then download Reaper. You'd be ready to rock then.

this! and dont add more to your studio if you dont even know what to use it for right now, def jump on ableton if you already know your way around in the lite version and just keep at it

An sh101, although its got its own sound that unique, its very limited. NI Komplete 7 is outstanding! its got everything you need to make music (bar effects not excluding guitar rig)
And yeah a full ableton license can be purchased later, get Komplete while you can.
