i absolutely hate posts like these

a logo is supposed to be a carefully crafted work of art, one that represents the product/individual accurately, refined through constant feedback from the client to the designer

it's not a "oh hey, make me a logo that says _______".

i absolutely hate replies like that. im the client, i want to find a designer. i dont have the time or money to be spending on going out and getting a professional to do it that way. i asked for someone who has experience, you dont yet you replied anyway. now fuck off

I agree.. but at the same time.. if you suck it or don't like doing it, that shouldn't opt you out of having a professional logo.. I'm sure MANY logos are designed by outside people.. whether it be in music or business or whatever.

..I'd be up for giving it a shot.. I like messing with Ps and Ai.. care to give more details about what you want? name? feel? size?

the thing about this thread is that it just says "need logo"

no specifications, ideas, noone even knows what the logo is for, is it a vegetable store, a porn site, who knows...

that is exactly my problem

it would have been different if he had said

"hello, I'm in need of a logo for myself, and i was wondering if there's anyone around here with some design experience who would be willing to get in contact and discuss designing something"

or at the very least

"hey, i need a log with ________________________________________ specifications, if anyone could help me out, i'd be really grateful and i might try to compensate for your hard work"

there's also the fact that this guy almost literally just joined and he's already basically demanding a logo. he could've at least taken the time to interact with the community a bit, and then i'm sure i, or someone else, wouldn't mind spending a little time to make him a logo.

I agree with you man! Dude has a post count of 3 and tell you to fuck off. That's a lack of respect.

And btw what you said earlier is very correct! a logo is the first thing people will see about your company/organization. If the logo is nice and sticky in the mind and visually appealing, people will immediately notice it and take that into account.

thanks mate - a friend done this for me. she studies graphic design

but it needed about 5 sessions to get that right

but looks good now, doesn't it. i'm happy with it. got a second one (this is just for the whole dj think) with a big jack-plug instead of the needle
