That DJG atmo-intro, then diving straight into the midrange! Best midrange in recent memory, those harmonizations (?), oh my god, and a killer sample as well!! Some heavy rhythm on "Intanationalz", I am quite ashamed I haven't really put that much thought into Tesla's tunes recently. He's gonna have a new album out soonish, am I right? Would have liked a longer blend with the Mala tune. Just pull back the first tune if it's gonna run out and start it over, that's what I do, and that's why I need a third deck and a three-channel mixer
. IS THAT A DOWNLOAD ONLY-TUNNIDGE RELEASE? I though that if anyone, Tunnidge would like to keep his tunes vinyl-exclusive. Just one more bit of proof about how you can't even begin to pidgeonhole people in this scene. Tune is squelchy as hell, and Trust No-one has the rhythmics to compliment it - you should have gone crazy with the faders at this point, turned both decks to 33rpm etc, but that's just me. This Cyrus tune sounds quite Mala-like because of the kicks, but then there's some crazy-ass edits... it's official you need a third deck too. come on. And the snare on the DJG is just begging for some chopping action. No offense, but you need more sativa in your blend, man. Like, just do a full body swing with the fader, don't worry about the records skipping or anything. Oops I lost the track of these DJG tunes, the blends are so perfect. Are these free dubs I can't be arsed to google. You know, if you did a mixtape of all free dubs, you'd be free-jaying, weren't you. The vocals on "Left The Room" sound perfect on the DJG tune. You should have just started the tune again and played the chorus over the next tune on decreased volume, just a suggestion, as the blend you did works well as it is so blunt and sudden. As is the next one, only that it works even better. That Cyrus tune was kind of an intermission, wasn't it? Also, I wouldn't hold it against you if you had snuck back that P-Money vocal on top of the Coki tune. If your mixer has effects that would have been the place to
APPLY THE FUCK OUT OF THEM. The next blend is, yet again, very sudden, but you still manage to keep the flow as there's a pretty cool vocal sample. Then there's some power-tool midrangey stuff which rinsed my headphones pretty good. I'm not even trying to describe the incoming blend as I know it will be immense. It was. As was the next one. , YOU DOG, YOU!!! Footcrab -> Glimmer is the most Blade Runnery, neon flashy blend I've ever heard. Actually, I haven't heard such a blend it must be this harmonic mixing stuff you're fiddling with, immense, immense. The brooding tone of Glimmer fits perfectly to "Fear". IMHO, you really,
really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really ,really, really, really, really, really, really, really should have gone through with the blend though. The synth riff of "Surrender" pairs perfectly with the one in "Fear", and the pullback is adequately noisy. Then there's the last tune and it is good. No gallops, no clipping - question is, how did you fucking do it?
CONCLUSION: JOHNKIMBLE IS INDEED THE MOST UNDERRATED DJ IN FINLAND, AND I'D PAY CASH MONEY TO SEE HIM PLAY.
