Soo I'm having trouble finding structure in my music and im getting stumped on how to make a basic intro. Any input would be well appreciated!

Make a 16 bar loop, duplicate it, then take out the drums on the duplicate and place it before your original loop.

There's your intro.

Quiet pad playing similar melody to main part
Stab on every first beat with lots of delay etc playing the root note
Some risers before drop
Reverbed snare/rimshot
Delayed hihats

sparse n ting

apart from that, syncopated hats are nice: on the 1, the 4 and the 7

It's simple advice, but, listen to the artists you love, what are they doing in their intros? How are they structuring their tracks? One of the best ways to learn is to emulate your production heroes. Once you have the basics down you can start putting your own twist on it, and once you get that down you'll eventually naturally move on and start structuring things in your own way :)

mate i've been studying music for 9 years, i'm a jazz pianist.. i mean on the first count, the fouth count and the seventh count, wether it's eiths or fourths, it sounds epic. Seriously, don't go there -r-
