that doesnt surprise me at all because i looked at mr bill's demo tune and he's taken tom's ideas on glitchy basslines etc (ok so tom didnt come up with the idea but it seems ber bait that he posts on his forums and then comes up with a pay to download site with the same ideas innit)

either way i dont like it.

well as bait as the start of this thread is i wouldn't wanna automatically accuse anyone of owt. after listening to mr bill's "a serious start to something unserious" e.p i wouldn't compare him to cosm at all, some ideas that are shared but nothing that a million and one other people aren't doing aswell.

not like cosm gives everything away for free either, some stuff he does and plenty that he doesn't. pretty sure mr bill has done some free tutorial vids too, not 100% on that though.

Figured I'd give this a go, since I just started really trying to use Live and it seemed good value and all that...

First of all I had to "remember me" on his site to get the subscription page to realise I was logged in, because it's some shoddy phpbb half-integration - I don't like using the remember me function on websites. Secondly, when that worked, I realised he manually adds people to the "subscribers" group on the forums, and I was going to have to wait however long for that to happen.

So fuck it, I'll assume he takes his tutorials seriously when he starts taking his website seriously.

I do like the tune though.
