Post by dubpolice » Mon Dec 27, 2010 4:40 pm

As we move further into a more digital age - We at Dub Police was wondering do you guys still purchase physical CD's or is it just about the download?

i buy cds, when there's no vinyl of the release.
a nice artwork/booklet is important for me though.
holding a well designed digipack in your hands is so much better than having only some mp3s on your harddrive!

Yes, we still buy CDs. If they're the same quality as the My Style CD by Caspa though, probably not.

i ALWAYS buy artist's albums on CD if they are available, as well as mix CDs if they're good. love owning a physical item and if the artwork is sweet then even better. i've had my hard drive crash far too many times too.

Who's to mix the next My Style CD?

MyStyle002 mixed by D1.... get ready for a dubstep musical surprise.....

Good to see people still care about a physical product. If we could have it all on vinyl I would be a happy person.. :D What was the last CD you bought then? Is it worth having digital artwork available for MP3 release also?

Now that I think about it.

I never buy mp3s of albums. I go for the cds,

I only buy mp3s of odd tracks mainly that I can't get on vinyl.

Digital Artwork = always a plus.

Mix cd's I don't get physically, expect for the dubstep allstars series because I have all of them. I only buy propper albums nowadays, preferably on vinyl though...
