"Rush" sound

How do you make that "rush" sound that leads into drops often?
im pretty sure alot of people use ones from sample packs like vengeance

White noise is dead on.
Simply take our your favorite synth that has a "noise" oscillator... write a long note inside your sequencer, and apply a filter to sweep the noise to bring it in gradually.
Add FX like reverb etc to make it sound nice.

Just do a shit load of K, and then record yourself in a K-hole. Works every time.
