Yeah what a fucked up bunch. I really felt for the kids in that family.

Getting the kids involved was just wrong, they had no idea what was going on, it was even worse when that kid got that drink thrown on him and she made him stay. Flippin weird. Kudos to Louis though he holds his cool so well, even when he doesn't seem to agree with things.

That woman is one of the worst examples of an 'antisocial personality disorder' or 'borderline personality disorder' i've seen in my entire life.

seems like the devil took over of her.

its really easy, dont pay attention and they will go away.

there is no reason these people should be on the amount of televison programs that they have been on.

That's the beauty of it. They're pretty much all lawyers, and they make their money from free-speech lawsuits. People sue them, and then they win and counter-sue.

It's pretty much the only thing I think is cool about those carney freaks. In their absurdity, they actually indirectly show that we still (kinda) have a right to free speech.

The real evil bastards, like James Dobson and Pat Robertson like to use these guys as examples on why freedom of expression should be limited, and that's probably what we should be looking out for.

As for the Phelps carnival, they'll only go away if ignored, and considering how media loves them that's rather unlikely. A reality show would rock though. :)

PS. My favorite domainname of theirs is godhatessweden.com. It's just adorable. ;)

Well frankly i was laughing my head off to most of the stuff in the program. They're just dicks. As for the far right using them a reason to limit free speach, whatever. I really don't think they pose that much of a threat seeing as they are essentially just a family. It wouldn't get very far. The fact that people get angry at them kind of justifies (to them at least) what they're doing. I'm sure if people just laughed at them, they would soon piss off.
Lets face it, we can all think of a lot worse things going on in the world that would justify an hour of tv.
Ah pro-lifers eh. Ye gotta love em.

hahaha-- yeah i laughed a lot as well.

it would be funny to infiltrate them and go to their protests in clown suits with signs that are so outrageous that it would make them blush.

I have to say, i do like the idea that it just some really elaborate prank they've pulled and they're jusy goeding people for a reaction. That would deserve some respect.....Best satirists in the world ever. Out doing Chris Morris..

There's a fine line between religious (and political) extremism and outright mental illness

I can't help it. That song at the beging is just making me cry. Obviously, what they're singing is diplorable but when you look at them and the situation it's just funny.

They don't know anything. Everytime louis asks a question they cant give a reason for they just say i dont want to answer - especially the paster guy. Im pretty sure if there was a god (im agnostic) he would disaproove of what these people are saying.

Im so discusted i cant even write whats on my mind.

*edit* theyre just little kids. All of them, I like that Louis guy, he keeps his cool all the time. Im pretty sure if one of them got cancer or summin they would soon change their mind, im sure they would be like "ive got cancer now, its what God gave me, what have i done wrong.... Hold on wait maybe its what I've been preaching."

yeah.
Well it is so outrageous that via infiltration one could easily reduce their stunts to the level of a prank so people would begin to see them for the clowns they are. The rhetoric of this group is so bombastic that they have made themselves an easy target for ridicule.

Take the Mel Brooks approach:
"If you stand on a soapbox and trade rhetoric with a dictator you never win," says Brooks, 75. "That's what they do so well; they seduce people. But if you ridicule them, bring them down with laughter--they can't win. You show how crazy they are." --Mel Brooks

Well, that quote is spot on. And the Porducers is one of the funniest films ever commited to celluloid.
