I'm in love with this song atm (
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1S35THmZD_E) and I can't for the life of me get the beautiful bass Nero's got (i'm using Massive).
Anyone got any ideas? Is Massive the right sort of thing to use for this?
P.s. in case you hadn't guessed, i'm faairly new to production.

Not totally sure but
Saws, play with the phaser in the "modulation osc", maybe some distortion
use the filter too, daft or scream could do it
Like I said, dunno for sure

try using camel audio alchemy, and make a 2 octave spread most likely using square wves

IMO Logic's ES2 has a really similar and great tone similar to that bass. That is if you use logic
