EDIT: okay, made some obvious changes to this. gave my ears a break and realized it had problems. now it's as good as i want it to be. (:

mmm i'm digging this vibe, i get the sensation of a rainy summer day with light rain haha. and if you don't mind me asking, how did you get that burial-esque snare sound?

oooh, right, that's just a rimshot sample that i compressed and added a little reverb on it, not very wet but with a fair amount of delay
i loaded 2 of them and pitched one of them a little lower and replaced the original one with the lower pitcehd one every once in a while

also, turned on regroove and put the shuffle up to 69%

ahh that's pretty dope, the rim sounds really coherent in light of the fact that you layered samples to get that sound. i must return to the daw and conduct experiments....

theyre not layered on top of each other tho. i didnt layer any of them, altho i probably should have to get cooler sounds. i think it's the compression and the fact none of the kicks land on the snares/rimshots???? but yeah just experiment thats more fun than anything
