hazy/ blurry synths

or really any of their other tracks. washed out has a similar sound too and i read he sampled synths from old disco records
but i just cant get anywhere near it
any ideas on waveforms, processing how to mix to achieve a similar sound
i know its not exactly dustup but variety is the spice of life etc. . .

only the first link worked and it sounded to me like an electric piano sound recorded through tape or analog medium with some degradation and noise
