check out smallgantics, it's a video tilt shift effect invented by some studio, it's used in Thom Yorke's Harrowdown Hill video (would link but i'm at work)
absolutely stunning effect

that new Jack Black film - Gullivers Travels uses it over the opening credits (video of people going to work/building sites etc)
