does anyone know if i were to put an lfo on the filter cutoff what the time measure would be like 1/4 or something like that. or am i using a envelope to just open the filter really quick?

for squid attack at the drop when the synth begins to play it does a quick growl type thing thats like a stab. whats the timing going to be in massive like when you sync it

think I know what sound your on about. Probably better using the filter envelope and your best bet is opening massive trying it but a rough guess would be a low attack with the decay at about 1/16th

Both work! I typically use an lfo because you can choose the wave type, considering one cycle of a sawtooth at desired tempo is the same as an opening envelope set to linear mode.
that way you can switch between wave forms and see what sounds the most wicked

This, although it may be more to do with adsr without a lfo then automation to put the lfo back in.
