going to start mixing autonomic, need some ideas of tunes though

what about that Dbridge compilation that came out recently, had a couple of Skream tunes on it I think, can't remember the name..

Distance - Sky's Alight/One Regret.

Don't know much more about that tho, just go on chemical or sthg, Autonomic and then you buy what you're feeling.
Also try Exit Records, they've put out some dBridge things and the brilliant Spectrasoul - Melodies/Insigna if I remember correctly.
Look for ASC's older things but you won't get many as 12" as most of them have only been released as CD's/Digitals.

i think its just a vibe of often emotive, well thought out, almost organic, spacious tunes. i dont want to use the term deep as theres some really dark ssssinister bits but on the otherhand dark isn't a fair representation either. Alot of people are using the term autonomic as a description of the 170bpm (85bpm if u want to be picky) minimally bits that are coming out but if it is going to be used as a term I don't think it should only be used in relation to that one speed and is definitely more of a vibe. kinda like how everyone says how much dubstep sounds totally different with the bass as a connection except here the connection is just the electronica vibe. maybe post aphex if you wanted to get really in depth about it. or maybe electronica that isn't solely aimed for the dancefloor. the more i think about it the more i could babble on

I think of it as ~170bpm tunes with space to breath. Not 1000s of breaks over top of each other. The latest albums from ASC and Consequence have some really good bits

ez Mikey, thanks for the comments glad your feeling the mix, was rather pleased with this one.

The Area schedule is packed out for this year, but i may look into doing a bigger ep for my next solo release which I would like to include some non dubstep bits on. I have been doing some beats at 170, would be nice to see them come out as the feedback ive had so far is really positive.
